John Edgell Ltd was founded in 2003 by John Edgell, a highly experienced and qualified Chartered Building Surveyor, Architectural Designer, Building Engineer and Party Wall Surveyor.

John started his working career in 1970 as an Architectural Technician in Frome, Somerset.  He progressed into the world of building surveying and building engineering, qualifying as an RICS Building Surveyor in 1983 and becoming a Building Control Officer for Bath City Council.  He later became part of the extensive Property Services Team for the Burton Group, a national Retailer and in 1992 joined the brewer Whitbread as an Acquistions Surveyor.
